How long does it take to connect a domain?

Showit requires its own subscription. Most clients choose either the $24/month plan (includes a blog) or the $19/month plan (no blog). E-commerce add-ons, like Shopify Lite, start at $5/month.

How much does Showit cost?

Yes — your domain is yours to own and purchase. Most are around $15–$20/year on GoDaddy. If you already have one through Squarespace, Wix, or Google, we’ll walk you through transferring it to GoDaddy so it connects to Showit.

Do I also need to buy my own domain?

Showit is a drag-and-drop website platform that gives us unlimited creative freedom (no cookie-cutter templates here) and makes it simple for you to update later — no coding required. We use it exclusively because it gives clients the best of both worlds: creative control + strong SEO foundations.

What is Showit, and why do you only use it?

Depending on your package, anywhere from a weekend to several weeks. Just keep in mind: delays happen if copy/photos aren’t ready up front.

What do I need before we start?

Not at this time. We’ll provide a Copywriting Guide with strategy tips and prompts you can use in ChatGPT to refine your voice and message. We’ll also fine-tune your copy during the process, but we don’t write it from scratch.

Do you offer copywriting services?

We don’t start your design until all client deliverables are received — copy, photos, brand assets, Showit subscription, and domain purchase. This ensures your project runs smoothly and avoids unnecessary delays.

When do you schedule design time?

How to Start

Highly recommended. A great design only goes so far without high-quality imagery. If you don’t have them yet, we’ll point you to resources or help you plan a brand shoot.

Do I need professional brand photos?

Because design works best when we have the full picture. Without your copy, photos, and strategy, we’re designing blind — and that slows down your project.

Why do I need to provide everything up front?

We’ll give you our Copywriting Guide, including structure prompts, examples, and even ways to use ChatGPT to brainstorm. You’ll bring the first draft; we’ll polish it to make sure it flows with your design.

How do I know what to write for my site?


Fill out our contact form → book a discovery call → secure your project date. After that, your homework is to gather all deliverables. Only once everything is ready do we schedule your actual design time.

What platform do you recommend for RSVPs — Joy or Zola?

Ideally 6–9 months before the wedding, so you can include the URL on save-the-dates.

When should we set one up?

100%. It’s the easiest way to share your wedding details (schedule, travel, RSVPs, registry) and saves you from texting the same info 87 times.

Yes — we set up titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and a site structure designed to help you rank. We’ll also walk you through SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization — how AI tools like ChatGPT or Google’s AI Overviews pull answers). The way your copy is written plays a huge role in both, so we’ll help you consider keywords, structure, and clarity.

Will my site be optimized for SEO?

A standard 5-page Showit website (think Home, About, Services, Blog, Contact) typically starts around $3,000. From there, the price may increase depending on add-ons like extra pages, e-commerce setup, or custom integrations. We’ll give you a clear proposal after your discovery call so there are no surprises.

How much does a website cost?

You’ll get personalized training on how to update your site, plus the option for ongoing support (monthly or quarterly edits). We want you to feel empowered, not dependent.

What happens after launch?

A deposit secures your project, and the balance can be split into installments. Showit + your domain are separate costs you’ll handle directly.

How do payments work?

That’s part of our strategy call. We’ll ask: What do you want visitors to do first? Book a call? Join your newsletter? Buy a product? Knowing your #1 goal helps us design with intention.

What if I’m not sure what my site goals are?

We keep it simple: our custom one-page wedding websites are $700 flat. This page can include all the essentials — your schedule, travel info, registry links, RSVP form, and even a section for photos or your story. Since wedding sites are usually live for a year or less, this keeps things affordable while still giving you a thoughtful, beautifully designed site your guests will love.
